Serving Omaha, NE and surrounding communities
No waiting rooms. No rush. No insurance red tape telling you when your recovery is "done."
Omaha's mobile physical therapy provider
Get back to the life you thought you lost.
Empowered Mobility is mobile outpatient physical therapy for people recovering from a stroke, brain injury, Parkinson's, MS, or any other neurological diagnosis. Just one-on-one care, in your space, built around getting you back to your garden, your grandkids' ballgames, and out your own front door.
Recovery doesn't stop when your insurance visits do.
You set the pace.
Every session is built around what you want back — not a generic protocol. No two plans look the same, because no two people are.
Traditional therapy often ends the moment your benefits run out — not when you've actually gotten your life back. You're left doing exercises that don't connect to anything you actually care about, in a clinic that feels rushed, clinical, and nothing like your real life. Empowered Mobility was built to be the opposite of that.
We come to you.
Sessions happen at your home, your job, or the park — wherever your goals actually live. If your goal is gardening again, we work in the garden. If it's getting to your grandson's baseball game, we practice on real ground, real stairs, real distances.

One Hour Evaluation
A full hour, one-on-one, to understand where you're starting from and where you want to go. By the end, you'll walk away with a clear plan — not a stack of paperwork.
One-on-One Physical Therapy
Focused, hour-long sessions built around your goals — strength, balance, endurance, and the everyday movements that get you back to doing what you love.
Condition-Specific Programs
Targeted plans for Parkinson's, MS, stroke recovery, and fall risk or balance concerns, or any other neurological condition — designed around your specific diagnosis, not a one-size-fits-all workout.
Evaluations are $180, and follow-up sessions will be $150 per session.
Our services
How therapy with Empowered Mobility works.
Maybe it's a stroke. A brain injury. Parkinson's or MS. Maybe it's just that your balance isn't what it used to be, and you're tired of being careful about everything. Whatever brought you here, you're not looking for a generic recovery plan — you're looking for your garden, your grandkid's ballgame, your own front door without someone holding your arm. That's what we build toward.
Built for the life you're trying to get back to.
Conditions we work with

You're the spouse making the calls. The adult kid checking in from out of town, wondering if today was a good day or a hard one. The caregiver who hasn't had a break in longer than you'd like to admit. You don't have to figure this out alone, and you don't have to have all the answers before you reach out. Our physical therapy services are designed to help your loved one move more safely, build independence, and make everyday tasks easier—helping reduce the physical and emotional burden of caregiving. We're here for you as much as we're here for them, working together to make daily life a little easier for everyone.
If you're the one holding it all together, this is for you too.
What our clients are saying
I knew Drew would be the best PT... since day one when Drew did a solo stand with him. Up until that point he was struggling to stand so for you to have that confidence is next level. We can tell [he] trusts Drew. Thanks for literally giving [him] his legs back one step at a time.
Drew is true example of selfless service, which he exhibits most humbly. He continuously forages forward, navigating adverse situation, making it appear effortless. He "digs in" verses "opting out" of the challenges he is faced with.
We are so blessed to have Drew as our physical therapist. Drew is extremely gifted and knowledgable. His confidence and determination to help his patients succeed made a huge difference in our therapy sessions.
Sessions wherever you need them — home, work, or out in your community
Flexible scheduling, including early mornings for working caregivers and family
A plan built around your actual life, not a standard protocol
One-on-one time, every session — not shared with other patients
You've probably already dealt with enough forms, approvals, and someone else deciding how much care you're allowed to have. Empowered Mobility doesn't work that way. Going cash-based means nobody but you decide when your recovery is "done," how often you're seen, or what counts as progress. It's your hour, your goals, your pace — every single time. Here's what that looks like:
No insurance, no problem
You shouldn't have to fight for your own recovery.
Meet your therapist
Dr. Drew Burggraff is the physical therapist behind Empowered Mobility. With over 10 years of experience working with individuals recovering from neurological injuries — including stroke, brain injury, Parkinson's, and complex multi-trauma cases — Drew started Empowered Mobility to give people more than a rushed appointment. Whether you're working on getting back to woodworking, gardening, or simply getting dressed on your own again, Drew meets you where you are and helps you get back to where you want to be.
